Tales of Shurelia is a semi-freeform game based loosely on the game design of the Tales JRPG series. It will follow the story of the chosen heroes as they embark on a dangerous and exciting journey around the world, to find and harness the power of the Scryer's stones, all in an effort to stop the vile plans of the Ebondrake Order.

The game will start with a festival that is taking place, which the first few main characters will meet in. Things will happen there to set the plot in place and we will take it from there!

This is a good game for anyone who has played through any of the tales games and enjoyed them, but is also good for those of you who have a good medieval fantasy character idea and want a bit of fun! The games is rated mature and as the games do, will have an anime feel. If you have any questions just let me know when you RTJ, and I will help you as I can.

Hello fellas.
I've just joined this site today, what with my urge to RP reemerging after a lengthy dry spell. And as I looked around at the games seeking players, I saw this thread. Now, after taking the liberty of looking into the OOC and IC threads you have, and reading the rule stuff, and can happily say I'm very interested in joining. I've only played one Tales game (Tales of Vesperia), but I enjoyed it quite a bit, and figured I'd announce my interest.

So, I dunno about character creation and such. I can pretty easily come up with a character, but I was wondering if it's possible I could maybe have a glimpse at the other character sheets or get a rundown of the characters, so I could make one with the knowledge that it doesn't end up a copy of another's or treading on their toes. (Of course, this is only if you want me in the game, and the sheets aren't kept secret from the other players, or something, :P)

Anyhoo, rambling aside, It looks fun, and I'm interested.
(Oh, and I am not new to PbP. I've played for quite a while on another forum which I don't frequent anymore, and have played in all kinds of games, including freeform. So I have some experience.)

Never mind the part I struck out. I've been experimenting with the forum options, and figured out where to look at the characters and such. So putting together a character and sending it in an RtJ would be the correct thing to do, yes?

Go ahead and send that RTJ and the GM will help you out :D I assume you already have by now though haha. We'd be happy to have some more experienced players, posters, writers, whatever!

Yeap, I just finished the arduous process of making the character and sending the RtJ.
(Damn sudden inspiration, adding more stuff to the sheet so it takes longer to write :P)

And if I get accepted, I already have a perfect way to get introduced in the IC situation. A funny one, if I say so myself X)
