League of Extraordinary Gentlemen 1980s

The year is 198x, and strange things are afoot at the Circle K. And just about everywhere else. Killer robots tumble through time. Werewolves stalk dark alleyways. Aliens want to befriend us, invade us, eat us, study us. And the CIA keeps losing track of psychic children.

Most people are blissfully unaware, obsessed with new technologies like "computers" or the latest news of the Cold War with the USSR. But not you.

You know better.

Maybe you used to be a cop. Or a robot. Or you used to be a member of GI Joe, before they folded. Or a freelance paranormal investigator. Or you're a simple immigrant new to the country, staying with your cousin Larry, and you walked through the wrong door and all hell broke loose.

Don't be ridiculous.

Now you've been recruited into The Foundation, a clandestine organization dedicated to protecting Joe and Jane public from the real dangers out there. You know the Truth, and Knowing is Half the Battle.

1980s is a League of Extraordinary Gentlemen inspired game set in the 1980s, with the basic premise that all fiction is real. All those 80s movies? They're happening. All the TV shows. All the books. All the video games.

Players are taking up the roles of the characters from these shows, or at least, an interpretation of them, and working together to fight the forces seeking to tear the world apart.

Gameplay involves investigating unusual situations and circumstances, resolving things the best you can, saving who you can.

League of Extraordinary Gentlemen 1980s

We've got quite the start with John "Hannibal" Smith, D.A.R.Y.L., the Bionic Woman, the Greatest American Hero, and John McClane. Still have room for more, if you want in on this.
