I'm starting up a nWoD: Innocents game inspired by works like Dan Simmons "Summer of Night" and Netflix's "Stranger Things" and am currently recruiting players.  I have three added so far and am looking for 3-4 more with good concepts that fit into the game.

The game is set in a small town over the summer of 1984 and all characters will be playing children between the ages of 7-12.  We'll be using the New World of Darkness 1st edition rules and the WoD: Innocents supplement for character creation and system.  Knowledge of the system is helpful, but not required and if you have a strong character concept, I can help you build a character.

One of the major themes of the game will be secrets and the lengths that people will sometimes go to in order to keep them.  There will be supernatural and horror elements as well.

As one of the players, I will add that I'm very happy to help anyone work on a character also.  I'm also looking for someone who might want to make a collaborative application.

I have a working knowledge of nWoD and I have the core book. I don't have the Innocents supplement, but I gather it's not essential, as the character generation rules are summarized in your house rules post.

The major differences not referenced there are in the Merits.  There are some that are not appropriate for kids (Barfly comes to mind), and some added specifically for kids (Prized Possession and Pet come to mind for that category).
