Camelot High - Squires Learning About Life and Mechs

When the AI known as MerG4-Na attacked Earth with her robot race known as the Emergent, it was only one corporation's quick thinking that shut down the Wyrmgates between the planets, trapping the enemy of humans on Earth. War dragged on for years, and then decades, until finally it reached a standstill, and the humans of other worlds forgot their homeworld and its enslaved citizens. They had developed mechs to combat the Emergent, which they called Armour, and were piloted by Knights. It was with such an Armour that John Arthur, a resistance fighter from Earth aided by a new AI called MerLN, reopened the Wyrmgates, rallied the Knights of Venus and Mars, and drove MerG4-Na to the edges of the solar system. Arthur declared himself High King of Earth and hopes to one day unite humanity against the looming Emergent threat.

It is to that end that Arthur established Camelot High, a school for Squires from all over the system to learn what it means to be a Knight. And that's what you are, the first new students at a bold new vision of humanity's future. Maybe you get along, or maybe your differences are too much to reconcile. Either way, it's competitive at Camelot High: whether the test be grades or skill at arms, everything is a challenge where the prizes are parts for your armor.

Based on Camelot Trigger by Rob Wieland from Fate Worlds Vol. 2: Worlds in Shadow with elements from Diaspora by Brad Murray, C.W. Marshall, Tim Dyke, and Byron Kerr.

My goal is to have as many players as possible to drive their own conflict and somewhat govern themselves. Character creation will be run in batches of 4-6.

Players will build up their mechs over time, by acquiring parts. They`ll be able to beg, barter and steal, and any extracurricular duels that happen will require that participants wager one of their parts (yes, exactly like Medabots).
