Life exists on many worlds, sparked by the light of the stars. Now mankind travels the galaxy in ships that travel through Aetherspace, the plane of magic. What had been one hundred years of peace between the Great Strade Empire and the Amoloch Hegemony has exploded into another war! Soldiers and warships now control the spacelanes, where once merchants and diplomats were the norm. The people are made to mine magicite faster than ever before, as whoever wins this arms race will obliterate the opposition and control the galaxy!

The galaxy is filled with ancient mysteries and new dangers, and those brave enough to risk everything will find their destiny among the Crystal Stars.

Final Fantasy: Legend of the Crystal Stars is an epic space fantasy set in a universe inspired by Final Fantasy games and movies. We're just setting up to get started, and are looking for one or two more players. The game system is Anima Prime, a narrative semi-tactical game designed to let you make all sorts of cool action heroes and scale the conflicts up or down as the story needs.

New players don't need to come in with a character concept, as it's easier to work with the other players to design a character that fits with the group. All you need is a knowledge of JRPG tropes and the willingness to help fill in blanks in the setting.

EDIT: In all my years on RPoL, I don't think I've had a game fill up quite that fast. We're no longer looking for players at the moment, but anyone still interested can feel free to take a look at what's available! Maybe we'll inspire more games like this one. :D
