Alright. So. I want to try DMing a 5e campaign. I'm kinda new to 5e. And I'm completely new to DMing.

So this is going to be a bit of an experiment. I fully intend to run the campaign all the way to the end, but we might hit a few rough patches in the beginning.

Basic game info:

- we'll be playing Lost Mines of Phandelver, the Starter Set campaign. I have not played this campaign before, nor have I read the campaign book. We'll be figuring it out as we go.

- though the campaign is part of the 5e Starter Set (which comes with a bunch of presets), you can of course create your own character using anything in the PHB (and only the PHB). 27 points buy for stats.

- I'll be taking in 4-6 players, need to fill a few specific roles but otherwise it's first come first served.

- a daily posting schedule is expected, at least during combat. PbF can be dreadfully slow if not everyone is commited to it.

- game is rated Mature, but should be mostly PG-13.

Hey man I'm getting into DnD and was looking at getting into 5e, I've got the starter set so i know a bit, I'll be using the premade Dwarf Cleric with a few personality changes, hope i get to join you :)

We're finishing up the first dungeon and one of the players has left, so we have a spot!

I'll give preference to players willing to pick up the abandoned character (a halfling rogue), but everyone is still lv1 so if you want to create a new character we should be able to fit him into the plot soon enough.
