An insidious Chaos cult has wormed its way into the heart of Marienburg over the centuries and only in the last year has the cult been discovered by the Chosen of Manann, a simple stevedore dock boss, and his crew. Over the last year they have travelled from the pirate isle of Sartosa to the Chaos Wastes of Naggaroth and beyond. Some say they escaped a prison build to contain the Last Breath by the god Loec and even travelled to the Gates of Morrs Gardens.
...Returning to Marienburg after they have faced every imaginable foe, still one foe eludes them, the leader of the Twisted Tree. Vasagros is a powerful elven necromancer who has been plotting with the Whore Goddess Slaanesh since before the Sundering of the Elves, to open the gates of hell on the city of Marienburg and ultimately the world.
If the Twisted Tree is victorious their victory will lead to darkness across the world filled only with the screams of Slaanesh's torturous reign which will end only in death. The souls of those slain will feed Nagash's growing army in the Plains of Ash and Despair.

Eth'Asir Silvari, the last of his order sent to protect the elves of Marienburg, works with a young tortured elven girl - and member of the Chosen's crew, a druchii knight, and a young dragon to save all humanity from the clutches of the Twisted Tree. Eth;Asiris a relative newcomer to the crew of the Chosen of Manann and still struggling to understand the crew dynamics and the enemy the crew has revealed.
The elven girl who works to save the city however has a fatal flaw. She is in love with a young man who has sold his soul to Tzeentch. Somehow, for some reason, Tzeentch has sided with Manann against Nagash and Slaanesh.....or has he.
Kat, young, tough, brave and uncanningly lucky, Kat is a master thief with strong ties to the city and the underworld. But now she is a prisoner of a powerful minion of the Twisted Tree.
Can Nim save her before she is either sacrificed to Nagash or will the undead thing actually trade his captive for the library of his ancient master Vasagros now in the possession of the Tzeentchen demon.
- These are 7-10,000 experience point characters. This is a game for experienced and mature players only. One post is required daily to participate - excepting real life demands. This is not a game for children due to the sophistication of the plot and the expectations of the players - some who have been playing in this game for close to 8 years.
