I think I've gotten a good enough system going now for me to be able to manage another active game without being overwhelmed. Especially since this one will have a smaller focus.

This game branches out the Dawn of the Chosen campaign canon, allowing for a small circle of Solars to begin their adventures in the West. What happens in the North and South games may affect what happens in this West game and vice versa, because the campaign canon is the same in all three games. However, Creation is vast and there is no telling if the butterfly effects will ever be felt.

I will not invite a full circle of five for this campaign, since it will begin with a smaller, more regional focus. I'm looking for three active players (none of which is participating in any of the other Dawn of the Chosen games---this is also a good second chance for those of you who got rejected for the South game).

The basic premise of the West game is loosely based on the story of Eldorado. You will begin play at Lava Island, a newly found Realm way station, home of an active volcano and a people who may seem to be like any human tribe at first glance (but may be part of something greater and older than expected). You may have ended up at this island somehow, or you may be local to it. That depends fully on your concept.

As for the RTJ, I value good writing a lot. If you want to be attractive to me and increase your chances of being invited, think about spelling, grammar and formatting. Be elaborate but avoid walls of text. Get to the core of what makes your character interesting. I also like pictures.

The Eldorado-based West game didn't pan out due to player inactivity. With the official release of the game, I imagine that more people are interested in getting to play. For that reason, I decided to reboot my West game and invite new players.

So this game is going to take place in Wu-Jian, a large and dangerous city fit for adventure and mystery. You have a lot of creative freedom with your character concept, but try to figure out a reason for why you're there.

What I'm looking for in my players are activity and genuine interest. I like progression, and I like players who are willing to take initiatives of their own to help that progression.

I'm not interested in making a game exclusively for veterans though. First time Exalted players are welcomed as well, more so than ever with this new edition. I discourage optimization and number crunching because I want to focus on the RP experience. Inexperienced players and experienced players should both feel at home in my games.

As for your character concepts, I encourage original ideas. I also like pictures and formatting. A pretty RTJ makes it look like you put effort into it. Players who put effort into their RTJs are more likely to be invited to the game.
