I'm looking for a few brave souls who will help me play test a new OSR rule set I've written.

If you're interested in role-playing as a samurai or ninja in a fantasy world with a simple rule-set that hearkens back to the systems many of us cut our teeth in back in the 70's and 80's (or you've come to appreciate the older rules even if you started off with newer ones), I'd love to have you join the game.

The plan is to get this game going to test character creation and low level play before I publish the rules. So there will likely be some changes to things as play goes along. However, I'm not planning on ending the game just because the rules get published. I've got plenty of ideas for adventures that should last several years!

I have had several players go inactive or drop recently, and I would like to get a few more interested souls to join my game. I'm open to letting you take over an existing character, or to roll up a new one to join the party.

The current adventure has the party investigating a cursed castle to try and cleanse it of evil spirits/influence so their lord can prepare it to defend against the neighboring lord's aggression. The local temple has an interest in removing the evil spirits, and a few other power groups also have an interest in the ruins.

The game is more than just hack-and-slash with katana and naginata versus Japanese monsters. It's got politics and treachery and a whole lot more (or at least it will, if enough players join that we don't need to abandon the game!).
