The year is 1994 five years before Taichi, and his friends saved the Digital World from a great evil. The Digital World is in its earliest stages, and already a great variety of Digimon reside in it. The World lacks any substantial forces of good, and evil however something is causing Digimon to break down into raw code. Nothing remains when they do no evidence that they, ever existed not even a digi egg remained. Yggdrasil was disturbed by these disappearances, it could not seem to locate the anomaly in its programming that was causing. After reviewing its options it tried creating, a group of powerful Digimon who would search for the cause of the problem and fix it. However one by on they were defeated by the mysterious force, and were broken down to their raw code. Yggdrasil tried several more solutions, but each one failed one after another. After several failures it was decided that an outside hand was needed, one that was not made of raw code a Human. It searched for several human beings that had the right traits, that would be best for finding out just what was happening. Once they were found several new Digimon were created, based around their mental and physical properties. Now that Yggdrasil's preparations are finished, it sends out its messade asking its candidates if they wanted to be heroes.
