Seeking Players for a Horror Themed Swords and Wizardry Game

Up on the mountain is a house by a cemetery, haunted by the memories of atrocities past. The cult on the mountain is long gone, yet the music of weirdling death carries on the wind.

The mountain is cold. So very cold.

And the greedy and the foolish will march bravely up the mountain for gold and glory.

...but are they worth your soul?

I'm planning to run Death Frost Doom, an old school fantasy scenario that is heavily influenced by horror and some of the classics of weird fiction, using the Swords and Wizardry Complete Rule Book. I'm looking for around six stalwart adventurers who are willing to brave a journey up an isolated, snow capped mountain to explore the shadowed lair of an ancient death cult.

If it sounds like an expedition you're interested in making, please have a look at the game information and send a RTJ my way. I appreciate your interest.

Seeking Players for a Horror Themed Swords and Wizardry Game

We have a group of four outstanding players prepared to make the climb up the mountain and brave whatever dangers await at its peak. I would welcome two or three more courageous adventurers. Please have a look at the game and, if you're intrigued, send a RTJ my way. No prior experience with Swords and Wizardry is required to take part.

One of our players, a cleric, has stepped away from the game, and I'm hoping to locate someone who would be interested in taking on the role. The game is in its very early stages, so anyone who wants to take up the mantle of the warrior priest can certainly make the character their own.

Alternatively, the group has three mercenaries that have joined the company, any of which could be adopted by an interested player.

The group that is on hand is an excellent one. Drop in and have a look about. If it looks like a game you'd like to take part in, please send a RTJ my way.

I am in need of two players to assume the role of a fighter and paladin, respectively. The game is still relatively early in its development, so players can certainly mold either character's personality in whatever direction seems best to them.

Please have a look at what has transpired thus far and, if it piques your interest, send a RTJ my way.

Hey Gamer75, at the top of this thread there's a box with this heading: "This is an advertisement for the game Death Frost Doom." Click on "Death Frost Doom". That link will take you to the public facing threads for this particular game. At the bottom right of the screen there's a "Request Access" link. Click on that to request access.

As a general tip, most games will have an "RTJ" thread that lists out the criteria the GM is looking for in an application. Be sure to give that and any house rules threads a once-over before you apply.

I participate in this game, so, I hope to see you over there!

I'm still hunting for a pair of players. I have two fighters on offer: one human, one dwarf. If you're curious about joining the other stalwarts on this grim expedition, come have a look around and send a RTJ my way.

The stout hearted company of adventurers has just descended into the underground. I'm looking for a player who would be willing to take up the role of a fighter character.

Feel free to drop in and have a look at what has transpired thus far. If it looks like the kind of game you might enjoy, kindly send a RTJ my way. The posting rate for the game is fairly relaxed. Generally around 2-3 posts per week.

Seeking Players for Swords and Wizardry

I'm currently in search of up to three players to join the game, the party having just descended into the shadowed corridors below ground. I have a paladin and a pair of fighters that whose roles could easily be assumed by an interested player. Alternatively, if someone would like to interject a new character into the mix, I'm open to that possibility as well.

Please feel free to look over what has already transpired in the game. If it looks like your kind of quest, send a RTJ my way.

I would welcome an additional player or two if anyone might be interested in taking part in exploring an eerie, somewhat off-kilter dungeon. Have a look at what's gone on thus far and, if it piques your interest, drop me a RTJ. Thanks!
