The Chained Dragonqueen
Since the Divine Pantheon first formed the realm of Ibrarhia, it had been a home to many races, all living in their respectful kingdoms and most of them coexisting together in harmony, focusing more on trade than war, ever since the Dragons declared a truce with the other kingdoms and ceased to "terrorize" the general populace. It seemed that the time of peace and prosperity would finally come over the land, when chaos started stirring again, though this time, it was not caused by the scaled behemoths.
Forty years ago, a cult of dark mages calling themselves
the Dark Sigil appeared in the realm, seeking to capture and control one of the most powerful beasts that ever roamed it, hoping to turn it into a weapon for their own purposes and use it to conquer the rest of the world. The trust between the kingdoms was shaken again, suspicion arose and a demand was made by the cult to bring them the Dragonqueen, secluded in her high mountain range or suffer the consequences. The cult seemed to gain in power and numbers up to the point where the Dragonqueen was actually caught, but just as it happened, the Dark Sigil withdrew from the public view. No one really knows what happened, nor if the Dragonqueen was actually given to them, but the dark mages appeared to have temporarily faded back into the shadow from which they came, even though their influence is still heavily felt through the kingdoms, making the people uneasy.
Among all that, whispers of dragon sightings and people actively working against the Sigil circulate the general populace and leaving people wondering whom should they truly place their trust in.
This is a Freeform, Sandbox, adult rated game, in development for almost 3 RL years, based on the idea of a few individuals trying to find a way to get rid of the dark magic cult that has been corrupting the land for forty years now and get to the bottom of the mystery that envelops the fallen kingdom of the dragon folk. We have a vast, well established and ever-expanding world and plot, a very dedicated GM team, always open to discussions and working on making this game a pleasant and interesting experience for everyone involved. There is also an established set of high quality writers and we offer options of involvement in both the main story and player-driven sidestories, as well as a wide variety of plot twists, both good and bad, to keep you on your toes. Our NPCs are not just tools to propel the story forward. They are a living, breathing part of the world, which can help you, advise and guide you, or make your journey very difficult. Good relations with them are equally important as with any other player driven character.
We are seeking players who don't mind a slower posting rate and are looking for some highly adventurous fun. :)
