Digimon: A New Adventure
It was supposed to be a summer like any other - relaxation and rest for those in school, and the same old routine for those who kept steady jobs. Nothing was supposed to be different. Nothing ever goes the way it was supposed to.
As if all regions of the world had decided it at once, unseasonal weather struck the world. Snow and rain fell upon deserts. Blistering heat reached the snow-covered regions. Droughts were replaced by floods. Abnormality took over the expected. But that could be seen by any man, woman, or other configuration of gender.
Twenty-two people out of the millions on the planet were able to see something no one else could. These chosen ones, scattered across the Earth, looked up into the sky and saw an aurora. Past that, one could almost see a portal. Twenty-two devices fell from these portals, falling into the hands of each of the chosen ones. They were then dragged into a world unlike anything their imagination could come up with.
These twenty-two were scattered into two groups of seven and one group of eight. These groups were the Light, Rumored, and Dark DigiDestined, and each had their own, competing goals.
Will the Digital World be left a distant memory once the chosen ones find their way out? Will the two worlds be forever connected and bettered for this connection? Or will the Digital World rule supreme as our world meets its end?
