Looking for a few dedicated players to help create a story of horror and intrigue set in the enlightened city. Mages, Kindred, and others are welcome. Interesting concepts will be given preference. Come be part of communal storytelling.
Game Description: Boston has long been a bastion of enlightened thought. From the first puritans who sought to build a utopia free from persecution to MIT scientists searching for mathematical truths.
All light creates shadows and the brighter the light the deeper the shadows. In the World of Darkness, Boston is a city of juxtaposition. Desperate poverty and decadent wealth live together in the city by the sea. The past and the future collide in this modern city where ancients secrets of the native people long dead lie hidden beneath towering skyscrapers. Boston is a home to religion, spirituality and science.
Boston is a melting pot of the different supernatural creatures that is about to boil over. Strained alliances keep the peace between the ruling Mages and the other creatures of the night. With different factions vying for control the players will struggle to determine who is right, or even if any one faction can be absolutely right in a city of grey.
The plot of the game will be largely player driven though set in a complex world of shadow and light. Monstrous horrors stalk the streets unchecked while the powers that rule the city see to their own power. The PCs will make choices that reflect the games themes of Power and Responsibility, Relative Truth, Identity Crisis, and Paranoia. Ultimately each will decide whether to fight to reclaim their humanity or abandon it altogether. Will these choices bring the city and the players together or break them apart?
