Albion, the land that is home to over twenty kingdoms. Once, the land of Albion was united in an age of peace, during which all of its inhabitants followed the Old Religion. Now there are many kingdoms within Albion, between which peace is exceedingly rare.

While Uther Pendragon was king, followers of the Old Religion were not allowed. Anyone even suspected of sorcery was executed. Druids were constantly hunted down as they were well known to be magic users. Uther no longer reigns as king of Camelot. The king is now his son, Arthur. Arthur is a far more just and kind king than his father ever was. But, he is still wary of magic and for now it's still banned.

Unknown to him, however....his very servant and one of his closest friends is actually a sorcerer. Merlin, known as Emerys to the druids, works to protect Arthur with his magic and is trying to focus on rebuilding a peaceful Albion. To eventually let magic flow back into Camelot. He helps and protects Arthur in the hope that Arthur will eventually see magic for how it truly is. Magic itself isn't evil. The evil is in the hearts of men.

However, not all sorcerers agree with Merlin's way of trying to bring magic back. Morgana, Arthur's half-sister wishes to take over Camelot for herself, by force. She does all of this in the name of magic. It seems that sorcerers are joining her every day, wanting to once again be free to use magic without the risk of death.

But which way of doing things is right in your opinion? Do you think Morgana's is effective? Or would you side with Merlin and try to help King Arthur see magic as it is? To be the best king he can be?

The fight for Camelot, the future of a peaceful Albion and the restoration of magic has begun. There are many paths the future can take, and you will help shape the future of Albion. Will the Albion Merlin is working so hard to achieve come to pass?


This rp is based on the BBC show Merlin. It isn't mandatory that you watch the show before joining the rp, but that would of course help somewhat. If you have any questions feel free to pm me in game. You may either make an oc or choose a canon character to rp as. Canons are preferred however, at this point in time, to help get the storyline going.

Bump. We have gotten a few interested people in King Arthur, but no character sheets have been sent in for him as of yet. Since it's first come first serve, if anyone is interested in him feel free to send in a character sheet. Queen Guinevere and Morgana are also still open as well.

Wouldn't mind playing Guinevere but would Prefer Morgana, (are the positions still open and what system ... if any) are you using

Bump! Open canons are the same as before. Original characters are still welcome as well.

Bump. King Arthur has been reserved as someone has shown interest. Others however, are still available. We are still especially in need of someone willing to adopt Gwen.
