There's adventure to be had on the high seas when a group of press-ganged strangers seizes a ship and becomes embroiled in the plots and politics of the Shackles—an infamous island chain dominated by pirate warlords. But as these new swashbucklers make names for themselves, rival scallywags, enemy navies, legendary sea monsters, and the infamous Hurricane King himself seek to see them walk the plank. Who will survive when there's glory to plunder?

The PCs got a firsthand look at the life of a pirate when they woke up in the hold of a pirate ship and were forced to join its crew of cutthroats and scoundrels. Their ship attacked a merchant vessel and they were assigned to the skeleton crew that would sail the captured ship back to port. Driven aground in a terrible storm, the PCs explored a tropical island in search of missing crewmates and supplies for their ship, before seizing both the ship and their own destinies. New players' characters will magically become one of the various existing NPCs, either a pirate or one of the newly pressed-ganged sailors from the merchant vessel.

This awesome Pathfinder game needs two more players; we started in August and it is still going strong, but we could use some new energy ;-)

First of all thanks for showing interest by reading this add :-)

We do expect a lot of RTJ so first some information and if you are still interested we would love to see your reply.

* We have just finished Book 1 of the Adventure Path, but saying that, we would prefer players who haven't played this Adventure Path yet.. (or are excellent at not meta-gaming, which is important to us).

* Please state in your RTJ your realistic posting rate, of course a daily post would be cool, but the deadline is set at '2 days after the GM posts' If you think you will not end up posting mostly at least once per 2 days then this might not be the game for you. (yeah, we are enthusiastic)

* Please put in your RTJ if you would be willing to be on the waiting-list in case you are not chosen. If you are chosen, we'd like to hear from you when life grabs you and you are not able to post. Please do not leave us hanging...
After a week of no posting; AND no message from you at all you are out of the game and we will ask somebody on the waiting-list to join us...

* The game has an Adult tag. What this means is that in the game there is some light swearing and some lightly gory scenes. Don't expect anything too offensive or gross, the tag is just there to be safe. Don't forget to include the following in your RTJ: "I (name) am (age) and am permitted to view adult content in my place of residence."

* Experienced Pathfinder role-players are preferred. Rules lawyers and roll-players are not.

* We are neither grammar-warriors nor breaking Wheaton's Law, but we do appreciate a reasonable level of proper spelling and grammar. ;-)

So much to remember, but if you came up to here reading all of this I will summarize it for you ;-)

* your realistic posting rate
* tell us if you are willing to be on the waiting list

and now the fun part ;-)

* What classes (this is a Gestalt game) and race would you like to play? Why?
Note that we already have plenty of melee characters and a wizard, so ranged characters and divine spell-casters will be easier to get in the game. Remember to read the Character Creation thread of our game!


* Just convince us by making a (short) Role-Play post. You can copy one you made elsewhere and are proud of or just make up something. Minimum of two paragraphs, maximum of... Well, not too long :-)
