Fiasco in the Weird West!

Welcome to Doomtown!

The year is 1877, and the history is not our own. The Civil War drags on, stalled by horrific occurrences neither United States nor the Confederacy want the public to know about. Much of California has fallen into the Pacific Ocean after an earthquake shattered the land into a great maze of labyrinthine sea-canyons. Rail barons fight bloody battles to decide whom will be the victor will be in the race for the transcontinental railroad, while a superfuel called ghost rock advances technology by unpredictable leaps and sometimes dangerous bounds. The Sioux have retaken the Dakotas and the Coyote Confederation dances the Ghost Dance on the High Plains. Some even say the dead walk among us.

With that in mind, welcome to Gomorra.

Even in the shattered and brutal landscape of the Great Maze of California, the mining town of Gomorra stands out as a hotbed of greed, violence, and intrigue. The greedy Sweetrock Mining Company wrests ghost rock from the earth, always on the lookout for the outlaw Blackjacks. The heroic Law Dogs try to bring justice to the streets of Gomorra, while Kang’s Maze Rats throw a wrench into everyone’s gears. The mad scientists of the Collegium toil over their amazing devices, while the enigmatic members of the Sioux Union just watch and wait. The sinister Whateley family sows seeds of fear, just as the maniacal Cult of Lost Angels arrives to preach to Gomorra’s masses. And just what are the Agency and Texas Rangers up to, anyway?

In Gomorra an ambitious individual just might strike it rich, or just might wind up dead. Possibly both. And in the Weird West, death may not be the end...

((OOC: This is a Fiasco game looking for 1-2 more players interested in a game about people with powerful ambitions and poor impulse control in the Deadlands RPG setting, using a custom-made Fiasco playset.))
