This is a Mutants and Masterminds 3rd Edition game, which is being run to help people (including the GM) learn the rules. Initial characters are non-super PL4, who end up exposed to... something... that changes them to PL8 supers. This leads to the questions: who did it? what did they use? and (most importantly) why did they do it?

I am wanting a total of ten PC's at this point, all of whom will have just been exposed to a chemical attack at a gala event. A mix of combat and non-combat characters are welcomed - so even if your concept is totally not going to end up duking it out with others, they can still be viable. Think more HEROES than Avengers.
