In short, the game is set in an alternate (ie - not historically accurate) pre-state Utah in pre-Civil War USA, with the characters being a cross between Mormons, Paladins and Wild West Sheriffs. It will likely be dark, with moral and emotional challenges. Reviews say challenges that must be overcome by both character and player, and having some experience in the game I would definitely be prepared for such possibilities.
