Beyond normalcy, there is a realm called Amber. It is the place where reality begins (or ends, depending on your point of view). Some twenty years past now, there was the Great War that pitted brother against brother, and the Royal Family against an evil that crept across all realities. Some were hit harder than others. Some noticed no change but it was there.
In the end, the family stood united against the mad machinations of one. He failed to end reality and remake it in his own twisted imagining. The goddess Unicorn chose among them one who would lead, and his siblings swore to him their fealty and allegiance.
In repairing the damage the mad brother wrought, a time storm overtook the poles of reality and though it appeared as no time past, those who left infants and children in Amber are returning to find teenagers and adults in their places with opinions and attitudes of their own.
This is a game that has not yet begun but is slated to begin after the first of the new year. I have 2 player slots available for a 5 player total. I may add more players in later but I'm just getting back into gaming after burning out several years ago from overload. As such, this will not be a fast paced game in post speeds. Players should be willing to post 2 to 3 times a week.
I am using a fusion system that incorporates elements from
AmberDRPG and
Lords of Gossamer and Shadow along with a few home-brewed concepts. See Notices for fuller details.
The game will be largely character driven so I do need players whose characters have some motivations and ambitions and who are doers not watchers. I also encourage Lurkers, if one just wishes to read along.
I already have 2 "savage noble" type characters so please, no more of those.
Players will be chosen on a best-concept basis, not first come-first served.
Players can also choose to take on the role of an Elder but will not play their own OC's parent. It's not a requirement to do so in order to be chosen simply an option I'm allowing.

Thank you for your time,
