Looking for a 2-3 more players to come join us.  This game was revamped from the ground up to be a DC comic universe based game using the Mutants and Masterminds 2nd edition game system.  We are just starting over here and have the set up, but due to other commitments lost a few players and need to fill some ranks.

Custom characters are welcome, but if someone would like to take canon Teen Titans, you are more than welcome to these as well:

Cyborg
Superboy
Beastboy

WARNING GAME MAY CONTAIN ADULT CONTENT!  All characters are 18-19 years old and all players must of course agree to the adult game rules of RPOL before joining.

San Francisco, jewel of the west coast, was once home to the Teen Titans--they were killed saving the city (though some believe more than that was at stake) over 10 years ago.

Leap forward to the present, a few former sidekicks are tired of being just that, sidekicks, and move out west seeking a start to make themselves a new future...  some others come seeking help with bigger problems...  others come for companionship.  Being a lone hero is, well lonely.  Whatever their reasons, the new Titans are rising from the ashes of the old... Whatever their reasons, the new Titans are rising from the ashes of the old...

Relative unknowns will be come allies.  Enemies will be faced.  Some may fall.
The Justice League is busy with bigger issues, by and large leaving the new heroes and heroines to their own devices...  Will this new team succeed?

Due to a person not working out with the group, we have an opening in the game.

We are looking for 1 new player to join.

Characters and players alike will be heavily scrutinized so as to prevent the problems with incompatible personalities.  I will consider the best player/character for the game. This will not be quick as I will have to consider several possible characters for only one position so being patient is part of the tests you must pass.

As always, this is an adult game so preface your RTJ post with the adult statement or it will be ignored.  I am not kidding as I will skip you if this is not in the message beginning to me.



The story so far:

The city of San Francisco is under siege by a horrifying ooze creature that uses the city's plumbing like a highway...  it comes and goes as it pleases.  It preys on people...  as in it eats them.  Not a pretty way to go.  We just got knocked off the top of the food chain.  Despite numerous attempts to kill the thing, people keep disappearing all over the city.  The authorities are at their wits end and have turned to the newly forming Teen Titans group to help them...  but another threat looms...  A new villainous group is beginning to work in the city...  taking advantage of the chaos to work in secret for a time only being revealed now...

The two threats will force the team to have to split their efforts.  Will they prevail in both fronts, or fail the people of the city of San Francisco?  This new dynamic two team structure should alleviate any difficulties with such a large player group (thus keeping combat and following conversations less wonky) and allow flexibility to have players switch groups should they want to between missions.



A couple notes about what we are looking for:

The characters will be 18-19 years old.  No older and no younger.

Intellectual type characters will be preferred.  We have enough paragons and Powerhouses so no more of those will be considered.  We need a Scalpel not a sledge hammer.

This is the DC universe, but there is no real established canon.  I may reveal certain things about the JLA, but for the most part they stay away from you leaving you to your own devices.  Only items incorporated into the character backgrounds are part of this game.  Make your own canon basically.  If you wish to have any sort of connection to established players in the game, you will have to PM them (once allowed in) to establish them as no previous relationships will exist otherwise.  This is true for ALL characters including the canon characters.  If you see an Canon character listed in the game as an NPC, you are fully allowed to write your own version of said character and abandon all previous history of that NPC that is in this game if you so wish.  For example: Say you want to come in to play Robin.  You will not be expected to play the character as written right now.  It will be your character and you can mod it how you want.

If you have high ranks in Impervious Toughness AND High ranks in regeneration, that combination will be shot down as to me it screams "god mod".
