The assassins from other worlds
In a world called Europa, an endless war is waging. Humanity is struggling for its survival against a tyrant, H.A., who would commit genocide on all humans. Adventurers from other worlds are recruited to help in the Great Battle.

All classes and races from the Players Handbook 5e are allowed.
Alignment is free, as long as you're willing to help humanity survive in the struggle against an insane tyrant.
Feats are allowed, alternative humans are allowed.
Rules from the PHB 5e are followed strictly, so if you want to bend the rules, don't apply!
A good background story is expected.
Good roleplay is rewarded with inspiration bonus and extra Xp.
Good tactical rollplay is necessary to survive this challenging campaign.

This is a game which starts at 4th level and ends at 10th level.
It is possible to be a player as well as co-GM in this game.

The outline of this campaign is as follows:
- recruitment story in your own world (individual for each player)
- those recruited meet at a place near Paris
       (If you role play the first two well, you'll be 2nd level before you continue:)
- prevent a conflict at the border
- scout and spy mission
- defend a weak fort at the border
- save the king's life
- underground mission
- kill several enemy commanders
- a search over the entire European continent to discover the tyrant H.A.'s background
- a final confrontation with H.A., when you're 10th level characters.

I'm interested in playing, however I am new and don't have access to the 5e phb. Would you be willing to help out a noob. I'm highly interested in this story line (I speak french fluently, so yeah). If you're willing to give me a shot, where should I put my character submission?

Few serious applications so far, so I have decided on a change:
We will start at level 4, see character creation thread at the game page.

Also: we use the standard Dnd 5e languages system.
There is no need to write or understand French, English is all you need.

Player Beware: The DM has a poor understanding of game mechanics and is set in his (or her) ways and will not budge. I can't believe I wasted my time writing up a detailed character concept only to have him (or her) focus solely on nerfing my character because he thinks the class is overpowered. He (or she) didn't even comment on my background.
