That's why we're looking for some compassionate hearts to take on characters who, through no fault of their own, have been left alone in the world and need an active hand in their lives. Pulp Adventure! Thrilling Tales of the Gold Monkey
Reginald Colvert [on temporary leave]
Reginald Colvert became heir to the Colvert Family fortune at a very young age, requiring him to mature much faster than his years would allow. Much of the family's fortune has been lost in poor investments and friends of his father who swindled the young man under the guise of tutoring him in the ways of business. Adding to his troubles has been a wild younger sister Diane who believes there is no end to the money in the bank.
A villainous scheme to send him mad and to seduce his sister brought into sharp focus that the world can be a ruthless place and one must either toughen up or be consumed by it.
With a greater understanding of business and establishing his authority in reigning in his sister, Reginald is looking to reestablish the family's fortunes with wiser counsel and investment opportunities; including the chance to own the well known Indigo Cabana where his favorite singer, Lil Lebeau, performs on the radio nightly.
Rumors of a secret family treasure have floated around for years but little is known about it. Could Reginald help save the family fortunes with a bit of adventure in his life?
Henri Belouine
One of the original members of the Park Avenue Hunt Club, Henri spent years in Mexico and South America on the Hunt for the Aztec Lords and Ladies, and that of the Gold Monkey.
After finding the medallions, he traveled within the U.S. for a while and spent time in New Orleans where he abandoned the medallion with a woman he spent time with. That woman would become mother to his only offspring Lillian Lebeau.
Currently traveling in the Gulf of California on a mission to finally find the Gold Monkey, Henri hopes to return to Miami to get to know the child he never raised.
John Jerico
John Jericho grew up in a wealthy family in New York City and had little to do with his time other than find adventures. He's traveled the world as a Big Game Hunter and sometime hero/avenger with the next generation of the Park Avenue Hunt Club, a crew of like-minded wealthy young men who believed it their responsibility to patrol the streets and make them safe for those who were less than they were.
No one, not even John, is sure how he ended up in Miami with amnesia but a visit from an old family friend, Kenneth Rockefeller, helped him recover his memory. After shooting would-be kidnapper Roland Foster, John ended his identity of Colin Graham and as the bodyguard/driver of nightclub singer Lil Lebeau, pulled up stakes from his assumed life, and is now unsure what to do with himself.
Edward "Louisiana" Legend [TAKEN] -- Elder Brother of John Legend (curator of the Viscaya Museum and Gardens) and Fortune Hunter.
Professor of archeology from San Francisco, University of California, Berkeley.
As a college professor of archaeology, Ed Legend is scholarly and learned in a tweed suit, lecturing on ancient civilizations. But at the opportunity to recover important artifacts, he becomes the Fortune Hunter and rescuer of relics, dressed in a leather jacket and fedora.
