From dust we will rise.

From dust we have come. The children of the ashes of man. We are the survivors, the builders, the architects of our own future. We will fight the madness of the shadows that plague our world, and take back what our fathers had forsaken. We will fight the Others that have invaded our home, and drive them back into the rifts from whence they came. We will purify the air of the dust, and breathe free again. We will claim the land that is our birthright, and never want for food. We will drink deeply the clean waters that sated our ancestors. We will no longer fear the night. We are the Children of the Dust, and from dust we will rise again!
Edgar Price “Children of Dust”
Broadcast right before the massacre of France Station by a Zoren slave party.

Welcome to "From Dust..." an adult post-apocalyptic survival horror game devised and developed by yours truly. "From Dust..." is a semi-freeform game that tries to combine the best aspects of free-form play-by-post games, and DM directed games.

"From Dust..." takes place in 2064, almost three decades after the earth suffered a series of devastating volcanoes, earthquakes, and an invasion of supernatural beings from deep underground. All this brought on by a near collision event with the asteroid Apophis 99942.

The game world is focused on surviving the horrors and hostile environment, and allowing the characters to explore and alter the world as they see fit. In this game, every character can make a difference and can shape the world. The game world is a dynamic one. A universe designed to be highly complex, living, and very detailed.

"From Dust..." is still recruiting players. We are looking for Duster's, townies, guards, and any other citizen of the Metro.

Re: From dust we will rise.

"From Dust..." is still looking for members. We are accepting interested parties that wish to have a unique setting to explore, interact, and play with.

Currently in "From Dust..."

Croix Station suffers an attack and loses their ability to produce power and water. And though a scavenging party has departed to search for the means to repair the generators, first they must navigate dozens of miles of ancient subway. They travel north to Breton Station, through halls infested with violent predators and predatory mutants.

Johnny Q disappeared over two years ago, vanishing into the night without a trace. Most assumed he had relocated to Savoy. But his sudden reappearance has brought questions and rumor to the people of Croix. Where did he go? How had he survived for so long and alone in the Metro? Why was he trying to break through the cave in and access Curie Power Plant? His mind addled, is there any meaning to his ramblings?

Hearing of the trials Croix currently undergoes, Queen Anne send the Platform a week early, packed with vital resources and food. How can Indred Cold turn away from the supplies, despite not being able to afford their payments? Will he put Croix into debt, or force his citizens to suffer for weeks to come?

A Thurian clutch was assault by Zoren slavers, separating the Matron Queen from her beloved daughter. Will the odd pair of scavengers have the determination to save the Thurian heiress and reap the benefits of such an act of heroism. Or will they fall to greed and ransom the child to the grieving mother?

What strange thing could drive three of the Metro's apex predators from their home? What nightmares lurk at University Station?
