M&M 3E Using DC/Bioshock Setting
I'm using an early DC setting (in the 1950s--before most of the contemporary heroes were even born) with the M&M3E rules. Players will make PL 7 characters. Instead of the usual 105 points, the players will build their character with 75 points and I'll assign the remaining 30 rounding out the character with gene tonics, plasmids and gear in the Bioshock setting prior to the fall of Rapture.
Players do not need to have knowledge of Rapture to play, but I would like applicants to at least have a basic knowledge of M&M rules. The game is focused more on roleplaying and posts while character sheets and rules are used to resolve conflicts or make rolls to determine whether certain actions succeed or fail.
The setting, right now, is low-power, with no one having obvious super powers (flight, energy beams, etc.) outside of Rapture and, in Rapture, those powers are limited by the available tonics and plasmids--and the Eve that fuels them.
