In search of Adventure

Tales of mystery is a pulp action/mystery game set in the 1930s, and using the Adventure rule system. It starts with a murder investigation in Los Angeles but I plan for the characters to travel the world encountering diabolical villains, secrets of lost worlds, and supernatural horror.
Some familiarity with the genre is more important than knowledge of the rule system. Adventure! Is fairly rules with an emphasis on storytelling over number crunching. I am looking for people who can post at least once-a-day to keep the game moving at a good pace.
I’m hoping to get between four and five players with well developed histories. There is no need to specifically stick to genre archetypes, but characters should feel “pulpy”. The players already have some experience under their belt and may have started to make a reputation for themselves in their field. Feel free to come up with villains and groups- I will try to incorporate them into the narrative as best I can. I have added some established organizations to the games wiki, as well as some helpful links with resources to get players in the proper mindset.

Re: In search of Adventure

New players should include at least a name and a short description for the RTL. The rest of the details can be ironed out later, I just want to get an idea on what characters I am looking at.

Re: In search of Adventure

I mentioned this in the original interest check, but I forgot to include that I will not be using the Adventure Setting. I love the rules; I just want to keep it feeling more like a pulp game and less like step one of the aberrant cycle. So...no telluric energy or z-waves. Sorry about any confusion.
