Monster Hunter. The title brings to mind heroism, bravery, conviction. The life of a Hunter is one filled with danger and adventure, to which every child aspires. The Neptune Academy is where future Hunters are trained and educated so they can pursue that dream. Along the way, they build unbreakable, fire-forged friendships that will last throughout their lives as Hunters and until the end of time. I myself once dreamed of such a life. Being the only one of my kind, I thought myself a "Chosen One", "The Master of the Wave", hero of heroes... that was what I hoped to be. How foolish I was...
Along my quest to become legendary, I came to terms with the truth: No matter the glory one may achieve, no thing or individual is separate from the natural order. To humans and gijinkas, Hunters are heroes who fight evil. To the natural world and all living things, we hunt our prey and defend against our predators to survive, just as all other creatures... and thus the cycle of life continues. We Hunters have a duty to the Earth itself, to maintain the balance between human, gijinka, and monster. For if that balance is ever broken, all of us will be in grave danger...

So, Hunters' Academy is now open! This is an RP based on CAPCOM's Monster Hunter series, set in an RWBY-style academy for Hunters-in training! This is an AU with gijinkas (humanoid forms of monsters) and numerous expansions, so don't be held back! Worldbuilding suggestions are welcome, and feel free to create new places or villages for your character's backstory!
