You, are an aspiring Pathfinder, making your way to the City of Absalom for the Pathfinder Society Games. Held once every eight years, the games are a way for aspiring young adventurer's to join the ranks of the Pathfinders without spending 5 years apprenticing among them.
The rules are simple, find a Lodge to sponsor you (you are currently attempting to get sponsored by the Crossed Swords Lodge), and show the Society what you're made of! All aspiring Pathfinder's must join one of the Lodges competing in this years Games. All teams have one (1) year to complete all of the missions and objectives assigned to them by their assigned Venture Captain. At the end of the year, the team with the most points wins. Members of the winning team earn themselves a place among the Pathfinders.
I am looking for players who will stick around for the long-term, be active, help make this game interesting and have fun (i.e. ROLEplaying, not ROLLplaying). Please stop by, read the threads and send a proper, fully filled-out RTJ if you are interested.
Anyone is welcome to send an RTJ. As long as I am accepting new players, assume there is a spot open.
While I am not trying to be mean when I say this, I would like to make something clear. I am not looking for "power-players", "optimizers", or "min/maxers", or players like that. I would much rather have in my game what most people on this site consider "a sub-par" character, that has a well thought-out back story, with a player who is actively posting and contributing to the story as a whole; than a player who is more interested in the "power-creep", the stats, wealth-by-level, etc. While combat does happen in my game, it does not happen often (maybe 30% of the time). So Players concentrating on nothing but hitting things, will find their characters are lacking. There is nothing wrong with playing a melee-type, but you can make him interesting.
Anyone interested in joining can find the game here ---> Pathfinder Tales: The Crossed Swords
BEFORE sending an RTJ, please be aware... this is an
ADULT-Rated game.
We currently have a decently mixed group, though it would be nice to see a "skill-monkey", as the group is somewhat lacking in these departments.
Those character concepts will be considered first, though potential players may submit any concept. (Psionics ARE allowed)
Please no "crafter-types", healers, sorcerers -- we have those already.
I would like potential Players to submit at least 2 character concepts.
