Settling Stardust - Space Apocalypse!
It's the end-times again! This time, though, it's the end to end all ends: the heat death of the universe!
All the stars have gone cold. Simple unbound hydrogen no longer exists in the universe. Planetary systems have either been destroyed or strip-mined for materials -- any materials, anything that still has the potential to yield more energy than what's necessary to extract it. Even with the astonishing number of advancements made over the lifespan of an entire universe, free energy is coming to an end.
It's difficult for life to just lay down and die, though. There's always someone to steal from, something still unexplored, there just has to be something that can keep you alive for just one more day. The only question is... when is enough, enough?
In Settling Stardust, you are a group of survivors from all across the universe who have banded together to try and survive in a dead universe. Will you gallivant around in a rustbucket spaceship, or try your hand at building and defending a colony? Are you a diplomatic soul, or will you go at everyone whose paths you cross guns-blazing? However you go about it, you have an entire universe's worth of tech at your disposal. Go nuts!
