Established in 1944 by Professor Trevor Bruttenholm to combat the occult threats of Nazi Germany, the The Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense (the B.P.R.D.) is an organization charged with protecting America and the world from the occult, paranormal and supernatural. But that's not even the half of it. As the threats accumulate, the B.P.R.D. has expanded into a facility that houses ally and rogue supernatural creatures, fund experts of the occult, and the training of extraordinary individuals in need of support. Today, the Bureau has expanded to encompass a league of capable agents.

You are one of these agents. Be it a field agent dispatched to defend the world from the supernatural, a researcher who solves the mysteries of the occult, or an outcast looking for a place in the this strange, dark world. This game is based off of the Hellboy and B.P.R.D. universe, comprising elements from the original comics, novels, live action and animated movies. The adventures will be based more on the exploration of life in the B.P.R.D. and the exploration of other cultures and occult mythology, groups of agents mixed between headquarters and missions around the world. Due to the unsettling nature of the supernatural world's existence, the Bureau tries to remain under the radar of the populous, and goes to great lengths to try to keep their activities secret.
