KingMaker AP from Paizo

I'm looking into running my a PbP game, the Adventure Path KingMaker. I have read the AP front-to-back and really love the way it's set up. We will use Roll20 for fights and anything I deem it necessary for.

As far as character creation, I'm pretty flexible. Would lock it at a 15 point buy or maybe 4d6, drop lowest if it's preferred. I will want some depth in your backstory. If you've ever touched this AP, please don't apply to be a player. Please read the KingMaker Player's Guide (free PDF on Paizo's website) and plan your character accordingly. All that being said, please fill out this application and post it below if you're interested:

Race:
Class:
Reason for answering the call to explore the Stolen Lands (This is your brief backstory):

Re: KingMaker AP from Paizo

In reply to gibsont13 (msg # 1):

Hi,  reading the player guide got me really interested in this adventure here's my application.

Name: Saphina Laughshield
Race: Halfling
Class: Bard
Reason for answering the call to explore the Stolen Lands (This is your brief backstory):
As many halflings Saphina has been struck by the wanderlust, being Issian doesn’t help either turning a simple wanderlust into a grandeur voyage of opportunity, growth and wealth for this little Halfling. Saphina seeks to wander into this land rush to have a part in history, to leave a mark in song and letter, having learnt and practiced the bardic arts for that precise reason Saphina seeks to strike it big in the River Kingdoms.
Campaign Trait (1): Issian
Feats Requested: Point-Blank Shot
How often can you post? Everyday barring RL situations
Anything else you find necessary: I’ve experience in both pathfinder and D&D as both GM and player, I usually run homebrewed settings , this time I experience how a published adventure runs.

Re: KingMaker AP from Paizo

Name: Altus Orlovsky
Race: Human
Class: Cleric (Desna, Liberation/Travel)
Reason for answering the call to explore the Stolen Lands (This is your brief backstory):
As a son of the Orlovsky family, Altus grew up knowing comfort but also restriction. He didn't want for much but he was required to uphold social conventions. The ease of living made him feel guilty. Why should an accident of birth make his life easy while others suffered for no reason? And the upper class mores bored him to no end. Why couldn't he just act as came natural? Becoming a cleric of Desna solved both these problems. He could aid the downtrodden while also experiencing the freedom to see more of the world. When he heard of the call to explore the Stolen Lands, he didn't have to think twice. This was an opportunity to achieve both his aims.
Campaign Trait (1): Noble Born (Orlovsky)
Feats Requested: Toughness, Extra Channel
How often can you post? Everyday. Sometimes maybe more than once a day.
Anything else you find necessary: This is also my first adventure path but I am comfortable with the Pathfinder rules.

Re: KingMaker AP from Paizo

Hi, my name is ken, been playing DnD for over 30 years.

Name: Kalathan

Race: Human

Class: Wizard (possibly a Transmuter); I'm intrigued by the Arcane Bond (item form) but it seems horribly deficient in that if it's lost the mage is screwed until he replaces it.  But I might give it a try.

Reason for answering the call to explore the Stolen Lands (This is your brief backstory): Honestly, I don't know much about Golarian (and thus nothing about the Stolen Lands...though I will read up on it to prepare for the campaign).

I'm thinking Kal lost his parents at a fairly early age and was adopted and trained by a minor mage (who also dies which forces him to strike out on his own).  The mage would have lived in the woods on a small plot of land (and thus had nothing to really leave Kal).  If there is some way to work his death into the AP then that would be great for giving him a reason to strike back when he becomes strong enough.

In some ways, I would play Kal as a 'druid' in that he was raised in the wild and learned woodlore...he just wasn't trained by a druid (or a ranger for that matter) and didn't actually master such skills (though I would likely multiclass him if 3e/PF were more flexible in that regard).  I will put ranks into woodland skills though.

Campaign Trait (1): Two-World Magic (Stabilize: lost someone close to him and learned this cleric/druid spell through a desire not lose anyone else)

Feats Requested: Spell Focus, Improved Initiative

How often can you post? Numerous times per day unless I go out of town or something.

Anything else you find necessary:  I'm an avid gamer and play well with others.  My posts tend to be more detailed than what I've seen as the norm on rpol (though I don't always write full paragraph descriptions...it depends on what's going on at the time).  I do have a bit of a deficit on knowledge of Golarion (I usually game in the Forgotten Realms) but I have the Core Book and a few other tomes to build upon and will look up the Stolen Lands to familiarize myself with the area.

Re: KingMaker AP from Paizo

Name: Sidhranas Lanmiril
Race: Elf
Class: Druid
Reason for answering the call to explore the Stolen Lands (This is your brief backstory): Sid saw an opportunity which would only present itself once to a druid like himself in the chance to join the adventuring group setting out to found a new kingdom.  So often nature was forgotten and subjugated to the will of the races of Golarion without any forethought or consideration.  If they were going to be forming a new nation in the wilds, he knew he could not stop them, but at the very least he could temper their expansion with reason and protect the wilds from being abused by this adventuring party.  He also didn't mind the idea of clearing out bandits from the deep woods, they had been causing the borderlands many troubles (before taking his leave, he was a druid for a small town on the border of the Lost Lands) and he thought it was about time someone put an end to their trouble-making ways.
Campaign Trait (1): Pioneer
Feats Requested: (Not sure what level we are at, I'll post what I would request at level 1)- Extended spell
How often can you post?- Every day unless issues arise offline
Anything else you find necessary: I have not played pathfinder before but I am a veteran at 3.5 and know the basics of pathfinder enough to not need hand-holding
