This is an Adult Game, so I need a statement of age in your Request to join.
I am happy for Wizards or Witches to apply.
This Harry Potter game has been running for over a year. Posting rates vary from several a day from some people to one every day or every other day from others.
The game is set in the University of Magic (USA). Most players are aged 18. It's the place you go to when you have finished at Hogwarts, or another educational establishment, and want some more learning.
The game has now finished its first two major plot lines, and the second term has started. Apart from a few rumblings about Goblin civil wars, and memories of recent terrorist incidents, it is a time of peace and harmony. Mind you the Centaurs are now showing an interest with their usual obscure statements, and the new headmistress is slowly putting her mark on the lessons.
The new Covention Center is preparing for its first events:
- The 13th International Magical Confectionery Show, which announced the first ever Berty Bott's award for magical sugar-ware has concluded. Apart from a minor incident involving PCP levels of violence and chocolate frogs, it was without trouble
- The 200th every decade Wand Conference has began. Already it is troubled with violence. 300 of the finest wands from Garrick Ollivander were nearly stolen by magic resilient muggles in a armed raid at the intercontinental floo station of Marble Hill, and the daughter of a wand maker was brutally killed at another floo station.
The Imbolc ball has just ended
Some of the players have been kidnapped by the Quidditch Coach who has clearly gone insane. The other players are in pursuit. This is quite a dark story arc.
An IC Wedding will be taking place Mid Febuary
Lessons are proceeding: the current lesson is in experimental astronomy. Unfortunately experimental astronomy is a dangerous subject, and it appears that some of those dangers are just materialising.
The game system is a very simple Window RPG, but is mostly freeform. Die are only used normally in the event of combat. You don't need any skill in Window RPG to play, as I will be happy to make your character sheet for you, if you can express what you want in words.
