Can I play a Bengradi male with the force sensitivity and capabilities of a Bengradi female?

Bengradi are heavily matriartical and I have a consenpt for one who was the son of a high priestess that was fairly progressive and wanted to make her son a high priest. The first ever. But while stronger with the force than his sister she has abused him most of his life. At to that that he knows the sort of backlash it would bring down on his family he denounced his family and stowed away on a ship.

Bengradi are a rather strong force using race though and I think home brew but they were in a Star Wars game I was going to join and I used the char in a free form for a while and it worked out very well.

I don't know the system to well but I know enough about RPGs to pick up fast. I made him once years ago I can do it again.

Note while strong in the force he won't be usin a light saber, least no time soon. He has a spear that was tempered with force crafting skills to withstand blaster shots, and he has bilt a blaster into the shaft. It is not a very good one though, but he could always take it apart and put the parts to a better one in.

EDIT: ops I thought Spi-casting was something I made up because I couldn't use the force in that one game. Yah then would be a spi-caster and posably evenchally get recruited as Jedi due to his ability
