New Minature Skirmish Game [Playtesting]

Legions of Toberia (LoT) is a fantasy game of miniature combat. The game is designed for small army skirmishes of individual miniatures, but it is possible to run large battles consisting of huge units. It is an adaptable game which uses the MACE system to create a truly unique gaming experience that combines the tactics of wargaming with the strategic atmosphere of popular card games. A game of LoT includes players who build an army deck consisting of miniature reference cards, incantations, curses, and more. Miniatures are placed onto the battlefield and players draw from a single combined game deck to regulate the flow of the game.

The world of Toberia is populated with a huge array of creatures, races, beasts, and heroes. Some fight for the freedom and protection of the weak, while others look to simply dominate them. Beasts are bred, demons are summoned, and necromancers send forth the hordes of undead. The land is in chaos and it is your job to decide the outcome!

All of the game rules can be found in the game wiki. The wiki is NOT yet fully formatted or linked (it is about 80% done).

The rules for Legions of Toberia are about 75% finished. Technically, a bare bones version can be played right now (and an example game is up and in progress). Much more will evolve with more players, ideas, and playtesting.

It is my goal to complete the following:

1. Finish the rules so that the game can begin playtesting (playtesting can be started now)
2. Finish the wiki formatting / linking / creation so that the rules are easily looked through, read, and understood (a work in progress).
3. To garner interest in the game so that all of us can play and enjoy the game together (that is what this post is for).
4. And finally, to continue to support the game in both design as well as expansions. LoT is a 'living' game that will change and evolve as time goes on. If a rule or miniature becomes heavily abused or unbalanced, it can, and will, be changed for better balance.
