The Sword of Andronicus will follow the exploits of a Deathwatch Kill-team and an Inquisitorial cell who investigate the threats perceived by an ancient and cryptic machine. This observatory, called the Mirador, can see through the Warp into the future. Watch Station Andronicus was constructed in defense of this mechanical relic and has been it's primary defense since. While the predictions are prophetic in nature and often are vague they are extremely accurate once the gaps are filled in.

Kill-team Andronicus Alpha knows well enough that such predictions always come true, requiring swift action and information delving to prevent calamities and invasions unseen by the rest of the Imperium. It is the job of Kill-team Andronicus to smite these unseen foes of the Imperium before their sinister plots are ever realized. The cadre in service to Inquisitor Lord Kozhedub is less informed as to the exact nature of the Mirador, though they are aware of it's importance and the dire nature of their assignments.

As members of Kill-team Andornicus you will be the tip of spear, alone in the darkness battling the ancient horrors, xenos armies and infinitely unknowable threats discovered by the infallible gaze of the Mirador. Do you have what it takes to pursue these hidden threats without fear or hesitation?

Unbeknownst to the servants of Inquisitor Lord Kozhedub, they shall be the eyes of the Kill-team. Monitoring the threats discovered by the Mirador, investigating the presence of xenos scout forces or first strike teams, they shall be the light that guides the Sword of Andronicus. Without their aid the Kill-team would march blindly into the maws of many a xenos threat.

I would also like to inform all potential applicants that I am not a fluff lawyer. I will not hold any of you to insanely high standards, nor should you do the same for me. I have not read the majority of 40k novels, outside of the Codex materials I use to play TT and the FFG materials I use to role play. While I will hold to the standard conventions and wisdom of the lore, do not expect me to know who lit the magical torch that killed the ancient daemon bound to the pinky ring of the long forgotten inquisitor which justifies your character's presence in a sector despite the fact that you're from a renegade chapter all because it was in some graphic novel.

Also, let it be known that this is my first rodeo here on rpol but far from my first experience with PbP gaming. If certain things elude me at first (text formatting is quite different here than the site I am used to) then please be patient.
