The Forsaken Lands


    For centuries the Kingdom of Fallmoor and their dwarf allies have been at war with the elven nations. Only recently has peace once again returned to the lands. Under the guiding hand of Queen Evera Hearthfire, a treaty has been struck with the elves and the lands have begun to prosper once again. This renewed peace has allowed the Queen to follow other pursuits, for which you and your companions have been called to the capital. You are part of a select group chosen to seek out the truth of a recent report. A sailing vessel, thought lost at sea, has recently returned with exotic goods and tales of a strange new land across the Black Sea to the west. What fortunes, and dangers await you there remains to be seen...

    This will be a campaign, not only of adventuring, but exploration as well. Players will establish a settlement and chart this undiscovered country in the name of Fallmoor and their Queen.

    Players will be given an allotment from the royal treasury to equip their expedition before setting forth.

Any purchases over that amount will need to come from personal fortunes.

System: D&D 3.5/3.0

Frequency: Daily. Any player not posting for a full 24 hours will be posted for by the DM to keep story moving along for the other players, with regards to character motive, personality, ect...
Should the group decide things need to speed up or slow down I will accommodate.

I am going to leave resources open to pretty much any book, however this is a world made up of predominately humanoids so run anything else by me.
