This is a world like what you might expect. It is a world of battle, of adventure, of friendship...of Pokemon. But not how you've come to know them. In this world, there are no humans (not naturally, anyway), and Pokemon roam the world, but these are not normal Pokemon: These beings are known as Pokemorphs. While they resemble Pokemon in most ways, they are people, generally bipedal and human-shaped, intelligent (as varied as humans can be), and are the main sentience of the world. Strangely, 'normal' animals proliferate alongside them, as if in this world, they simply replaced humans altogether.

The world, as it stands, is broken up into different oceans and regions, about the sizes of continents, or huge islands in some cases, all of which oddly seem to surround a particular landmass. Every few years, there is a tournament held here, to determine who will be the World Champ until the next time it is held. The title doesn't 'do' much, other than gain you recognition as the strongest fighter at the time, as well as prize money for winning, and, generally, the respect of people who watch such things (and save for more secluded individuals without television, that's about everyone). There are many who seek the title, as the glory appeals to many, as does the hefty amount of prize money.

Legends tell of seven jewels that exist within the world, scattered, hidden. They are each roughly the size of a baseball, and as such, can be hard to find, if you don't have a means in locating them. As the legend goes, supposedly, if you were to bring them altogether, and know the proper ritual, you will be granted any one wish you desire. That's what the old stories say, anyway, but what are the chances something like that could actually happen?

I'm interested. Where's the planning thread?  What character sheets do you want?  What level are we starting at?  And is this a "Pokemon have replaced people, complete with clothes and televisions and stuff" or is it more like Primal Fury where everyone is a human but has a animal form?  Would we be using something like the Usurper class from tBatD?

Planning thread is in game. Sheets can be whichever you prefer, I normally just use text based ones. Level is probably 5 (haven't decided completely yet). Pokemorphs are the People of this world, yes, and no, they do not have other forms, nor are we using anything from that particular book (yet)
