A beleaguered party of citizens sends a letter requesting assistance and safe escort from distant Armenia to the senator's Client in Greece.

Players needed for the Senatorial party: Diplomat, family, and  entourage.

Players needed for rescue unit. Legionaries, Auxiliary cavalry (Greek, Gallic or Illyrian(with a chieftan), sailors of merchant ship.

Object is to reach the senator and evacuate them to Greece avoiding the forces and allies of Mithridates the Great as he rolls westward through Anatolia. Problem: the Romans are a shell of themselves. Mithridates has already defeated two Legions and the Bithynian allies of Rome while in Italy the Republic is quelling a civil revolt of the Italian Allies.


Note since this is a historical game there is no magic. However the characters back then were superstitious and believed in magic and easily decieved by any proclaiming powers, making curses and divination of future.

The Roman remnants arrived in Armenia and met the senator and the massacre survivors. Setting out from the villa the cavalry screen ahead of the refugees has spotted a large dust cloud. Cavalry in the area.
