[Adult] THE LOST COLONY

The Lost Colony is a Sci-Fi adult game that takes place on the planet phoenix, humanities 32nd colony. It is a free form game following the day to day lives of the colonists as they try to make a living, make a home, and survive the dangers of the planet. There will be death of colonists, mystery, horror, joy, sorrow, and adventures to be had.

It seemed like a normal colonization trip to a planet they thought they knew when something went wrong. Someone or something changed course or something as they ended up at a planet they had never seen before. Now over 4 thousand colonists find themselves over a planet that they don't know about in a sector of space they don't know. The ships orbit is falling and have no choice but to colonize the planet if they want to live and are there for named the Lost Colony, so come join one of the colonist lost in space trying to survive.

The screen in front of you lights up and what appears to the face of a woman takes form on the screen. The woman seems to be in her early to mid 30s and is rather common, or rather has nothing distinguishing about her. It takes a second or two to fully form and for the AI, artificial Intelligence, program to fully come online.

"Hello, and welcome to the colonial Application process. You have been selected or have volunteered to be part of the next schedule colonial expansion of humanity. In doing so you can count yourself as one of the lucky few who get to venture forth and expand humanities grasp in the galaxy. This is the written and verbal part of the application, the first step towards becoming a colonist. With in a standard week you should be notified as to whether or not your application has been accepted. If your application has been accepted you will be given a ticket for a free ride to accession station to undergo the physical examination which is step 2. Step 2 will determine if you have the physical requirements needed for colonization as well as if you are carrying any diseases or infects that will make you unable to be a colonist. Once you have passed both steps in the application process you are then ready to be a colonist and you will be put on the next colonization ship."

"Though while signing this you are also signing up for the risks of colonization, as nothing is without risks. The HFP (Human Federation of Planets) is not responsible for the health and safety of the colonists from planet wide threats, the environment, or mishandling of supplies. It is not responsible for the injury or death of colonists as that is your responsibility and the responsibility of the Colonial leader. The colony will be on its own for the first 2 years after which the second wave of colonists will arrive on the planet. Though it will be on its own it is still part of and held to HFP rules and regulations. Part of your job is preparing the world not only for yourself but for the second batch of colonists. Now if you understand what I have said and agree with it, please confirm that you have and agree to these terms"

There was nothing unusual about anything the AI had said, in fact it was all standard knowledge for colonization. You nod your head to the screen agreeing to the terms of colonization. The face seems to have a small smile on its face when you agree to the terms.

"Good, now that you have agreed you can fill out the colonial application. If you have any questions, concerns, or comments feel free to ask at any time and I will gladly answer them."

The face then seems to shrink and head to the upper right hand corner of the screen as the colonial application comes up on the screen for you to fill out.

Well, hello and welcome! This was a game I started back in April and everyone, including me, was having a great time RPing it. Unfortunately I ran out of time and didn't have enough Co-GMs, any rather, to start and it failed. It was one of my first and I had a wonderful time running it and want to start it again as not only do I have time, but I feel I can make a comment to this game. I am also looking for GMs earlier this time as I have made a post in that request thread so this time it won't die!

Come take a beautiful, fun, and frightening journey with me as a colonist in the Human Federation of Planets as things go from bad to worse and then who knows! That part is up to each and everyone of you!

Re: Reviving an old labor of love from 2011: THE LOST COLONY!

So the Prologue is just getting started, but there is still plenty of room for more people! Check it out and see if it's what you like and if so shoot me an RTJ!
