Re: tiny fish in a big ocean

The planes have collapsed, and it is up to the party to set in motion the forces that will rebuild them. All while dodging the fall out of a failing government.  Alliances with powerful groups is required to get most things done, but pick your Friends carefully.

The world has been evolving since 2003 and has seen 7 OOC parties and 13 IC parties that have reached epic level with multi-planer reach.

Re: tiny fish in a big ocean

have you ever found that your gm did not challenge you? have you ever wanted to test your skills against foes that are quite literally out of your league.

I can promise that you will die, I can promise that you will hate the foes you fight, I promise to you that you will have to balance your public image against actually being good, I promise you a game you have to think before you step.

Have you ever played chess, when your foe has tens of thousands of pawns?

Can you beat your enemy, how many times will you die trying?

I am still looking for a few good players. If I like your charicter concept, I will ask you for a statement of age.

If you have multipal charicter concepts please submit them as a seperate rtj.

This is a 1st lvl gestalt game.

Re: tiny fish in a big ocean

i am looking for a group to rebuild my parties

whether for good or evil you as the players feel that the government is "to restrictive/ i could do it better"

the over arching mission is to replace the existing government. how you choose to do this is completely player driven.

Special group (these players will be selected by me baised upon role play skill and will be co-GMs)
will play as guild leaders for various factions/groups

by attacking/recruiting/working for/with the special group; players will gain influence and abilities

We still need a healer for a mature game. Ability to sew is a bonus. As the only healer in the city, be a cruel but wealthy man or a begged saint. Set your own price or give your services away for free.

300 years after the colapse of the planes, the Inn of the howling wolf has begun to hoard any source of magic they can get their hands on. Unfortunately magic has begun to be in smaller and smaller supply.

the world has degraded into a cold war of sorts, with many groups maintaining private standing armies.

the players step onto the scene to forge a name for themselves some to take advantage of the system some will try to rebuild it.

the best advice for new players is secrecy and strong alliances

MATURE DnD 3.5 GAME

My game just went through a MAJOR plot change. violent upheaval is a better description.

because of this I need representatives from the following factions, those representatives can be an entire party or a single player

Vampire (no vampires older than 2500 "years")(rare items exist to allow day walking)

Lycanthropes (Natural is preferred but cursed and afflicted will be accepted)

these groups have suffered under an oppressive government, and have strayed further and further away from evil as races.

Seeking organized crime.

Are you a dirty law enforcement officer
Are you a smuggler
Are you an assassin
Are you just a buisines man who sells in drugs and alcohol.
Or
Are you just fed up with the cruel oppression of the government
Are you a aspiring Mage who just wants to study in peace

Come commit some felonies, rob a bank, "remove" a government official.

The black hand needs you.
We need those who are chafing under the oppressive yoke placed upon us by the government, to stand up and use your resources to help undermine and over throw the government

The big bad of this game is an oppressive government.

Can you bring it down

(planer borders) new beginnings.

re boot

this game is rated mature for the following reasons
language
violence (extreme violence and gore are subject to "fade to red")
flirty conversation (overt sexuality is subject to "fade to black")
recreational drugs, alcohol, and tobacco

the game is vanilla dnd 3.5
that flavor is subject to change if the players move in that direction.

Disregard the name, this is not an organised crime game.
