Re: seeking horror lovers
After a rather lengthy absence I'm back and ready to write. This is one of the games I'll be restarting. I will be doing some reworking of the details but I am pretty much always willing to accept an application for this game in particular.
It was pointed out to me in a previous comment that I did not provide adequate details to explain this game. I do apologize for that and I agree after having looked over some of my threads.
I will be updating this before the end of the day and I hope it will be more sufficient than my rather pathetic attempt prior. But for the moment I will give a bit of an idea of this game.
Psyche
Somewhere, in the vast array of dimensions, is what many would call a waypoint, a place that can take you to absolutely anywhere you might wish to go... If you can convince the portal guardian... This is where our story begins... A waypoint, where our "Heros" find themselves being drawn to for some unknown reason. Sent through the portal by the guardian, to a place known to it's inhabitants as Sageville
The city that is Sageville seems rather pleasant, quiet, almost desolate and devoid of life. It appears to be fairly advanced with it's technology, and oddly designed. Our "Heros" will come to discover that this town, this entire realm even, has fallen under what the survivors refer to as the Founder's Curse. None may leave once they enter... None ever have...
The locals are rather an odd group, varied, unusual, some quite adorable, some quite frightful, not all human, and all trapped as the "Heros" are now.
There is a legend... though most believe it will never truly come to pass, that the Guardian of the Waypoint will one day make a mistake, and attempt to imprison some in this living nightmare... Some who may be able to break the curse and set them all free....
The world is ever changing, dying, nightmarish, with creatures of varied and occasionally frightful nature, dangers from the natural environment, to magical traps, cursed items, deadly puzzles, and even the Founders themselves.
Certainly one might find the good here, the cute, the silver lining... But in the end... It's all up to a roll of the dice.
Ask yourself this... Do you like the thought of possibly being made to fear, to think, and to possibly be the salvation, or even destruction, of this cursed place? Are you just a little bit curious? -The Narrator
