Reopen this game after a long break. It has been modified slightly, the base is 3.5 but we will be using the skill system from Pathfinder along with a few other items. Please include a brief writing example in your RTJ along with a character synopsis.

one big question is what level are you starting. after all most of the old guard have upwards of 200 posts.

Restarting this game and have almost a full group, need a cleric type to round out a party.

I'm interested in joining, although I have never been part of a DnD game before, and I don't know the system. Is it hard to learn? If not, then I'd like to join in. :)

I'm new here too but I'm also willing to give it a shot, if you'll have me. I'm not expert but I know the basic rules of DnD roleplaying.

This adventure is currently taking place in Simithar, and has the following entry story.

The showed up with their minions five years ago. They swiftly moved through the region kill all that stood in their path. Those that thought to make a pact with them quickly found that they had only made deals with devils. As they were quickly turned into intelligent undead that served the witches without question.

Then one day they stopped, no reason, just stopped. There has been sort of a quite truce since then. The witches allow trades to go into and out of their area, as long as they pay the taxes. Then there is the slaves, they bring them in by the wagon full from all parts of the free cities. Even those native to the area have been caught up in press gangs.

The past month things have changed. Undead roam the county side, and small bands of goblins have started raiding villages and farms. It appears the truce is over, and the witches area about to start their advance once more.
