Dice Roller - Earthdawn: Age of Legend

Could we have an Earthdawn: Age of Legend diceroller option?
This version follows the FU system with a little tweak...

Every roll uses the FU dice and can use some bonus or penalty dices but never both.

A FU dice is a 6 sided dice with values:
6: Yes and...
5: No but...
4: Yes
3: No
2: Yes but...
1: No and...

A bonus dice is a six sided dice
5-6: +
1-4: <nothing>

A penalty dice is a six sided dice
5-6: -
1-4: <nothing>

If you reach at least one + with your bonus dices it adds one to the odd values on the FU dice (and leaves the even rolls unaffected), so
5 -> 6
3 -> 4
1 -> 2

If you reach at least one - with your penalty dices it substract one from the even values on the FU dice (and leaves the odd values unaffected), so
6 -> 5
4 -> 3
2 -> 1

If you reach at least 2 + or 2 - results with your bonus or penalty dices the result on your FU dice will get an additional 'and...' for every 2 + or - (don't forget that you never roll both bonus and penalty dices)

For example:
FU+4, you roll 5(No but...) and ++
As you rolled at least one + 5->6(Yes and...) you also rolled 2 + which will add an and..., so the result is 'Yes and... and...'

As there is no limit on how many bonus or penalty dices you can get it is possible to reach longer values like 'Yes but... and... and... and...'

You can have rolls with only the FU dice too. I would suggest one field where you can add one value (positive or negative) what would represent the required bonus (positive) or penalty (negative) dices or it could be left empty to roll only the FU dice

Dice Roller - Earthdawn: Age of Legend

I was just thinking again to ask for this dice roller option and found my old request :-D
Nobody else is playing with ED-FU?
Accidentally there is no Freeform/Universal dice roller option as well, although you can argue that it could be easily handled with simple d6s

Dice Roller - Earthdawn: Age of Legend

Few questions...

Always 1 FU dice?
Can you have both bonus and penalty dice?
Is there a limit (realistic or set) for the number of penalty dice?

Thanks!

Yes in ED:AoL you always roll only one FU dice (it differs from FU core in this)

jase:

No bonus and penalty cancels each other out, you either rolls bonus or penalty (or neither if you have the same number of bonuses and penalties)

I don't think you have a maximum number of dices but I have to say normally you would get 1-3 and I have never seen anything beyond 5... To be frank anything beyond 10 sounds absolutely pointless (probably even less)

Re: Dice Roller - Earthdawn: Age of Legend

It's now available for testing on beta.rpol.net and for real use (if it's correct) on the responsive site, https://r.rpol.net.  Users on the traditional site will see the results but can't make their own rolls.

Re: Dice Roller - Earthdawn: Age of Legend

It looks great. The only thing (but it might be intentional) that separate dices are not showed, but it is not a must have just thought I mention it.

One question: Will it be available in the traditional site sooner or later or is it now deprecated and only the responsive site will get updates?

Re: Dice Roller - Earthdawn: Age of Legend

Can add in the results if you need to see them.

Will it be available on the traditional site?  No but yes... but no.  Never on the current "traditional" site as that will eventually be replaced with the responsive site.
