So I've experimented enough with a game I'm running that requires the list function to know you can embed a bulleted list within a bulleted list, and an ordered list within an ordered list, but I think it would be really cool if an alphabetically ordered list could be used at any point instead (aolist+[*]?) I think it would be cool, for example in a game taking place in a school to have a mock up entrance exam without having to fiddle with all the nitpicky formatting details of having to manually type in all the numbered and lettered bullet points yourself.

Write-up the list - do a filter and sort and have it gin-up all of the information alpha-numeri-betically?

I'm stuck on my tablet, which is old enough that I don't have access to any of the microsoft office programs (did manage to get Word on my phone, but not the tablet) and the only script work I've ever known how to do other than specific commands forums teach you on their help page is with Oblivion's version of the Elder Scrolls Construction Set.
