Clickable rolls

What about a way for a GM to set up a roll-link for a player, so the player only has to click the link and it automatically takes them to the dice roller and makes the roll?

Might look like this, but with clickable links:

OOC:  Narick roll 1d20+4 Attack and 1d8+2 Damage

So the clickable links only work for Narick, too.

Re: Clickable rolls

Actually, it might not be a bad idea to change the bracket on the clickable rolls so that you could PM it to the player, otherwise, the message will get messed up by the dice roller bracket.

Re: Clickable rolls

Maybe something that would be useful would be a <rubb> </rubb> tags which could be placed inside a PM which would tell the parser to find that matching block and kind of treat it as a set of RuBB quotes or parenthesis the block is intended to stay together.

So I could do something like this:

[ Private to Player1: <rubb>[dice=1d20+2 text="Roll longsword attack"]</rubb> ]

or
[ Private to Player2, Player3:
<rubb>They goblins laughed [ Language Goblin: We will have a great dinner now! ]</rubb> ]

I'm not certain how hard it would be to get it to parse like that, but I could see it being useful, and there is a chance it might not be that hard.

Alternatively you could have used the
Code tags
:-)
