I'm thinking about a game that uses the Magic 8 Ball. Would it be possible to add the option to roll multiple 8 balls at a time if I implement abilities into the game that allow rerolls?

Seems a weird system but who am I to argue!?  (c;  It is possible.

The Magic 8 Ball is already a choice; it's one of the Game System/Special Dice selections.  Steelsmiter is asking to be able to roll, like, 3d8Ball.  Which just feels like messing with fate to me.  Like... having everyone at the table mix up pieces of their fortune cookies before eating them.

I'm assuming this will require a "Number of Fortunes" or something to go into the fill-in box, and I'm also assuming it will default to 1, since that still seems by far the most likely choice. grin

Eh, well, kinda, but also kinda not. Like if a two guys are trying to hack a system and one of the guys' sheet says he has a history of hacking, he'd get 2 rolls while the other guy gets one. Or another example would be if a guy that's average build tries to lift a car off someone, he gets one roll, but a guy that wrote his character as 'strong' might get 2.
