Not sure if this is the right place for this, but the PMs have an annoying way of letting you know when there's a new PM

The post count on the main menu turns blue (or purple), and from the game menu, the PMs link is red. This is all fine and good.

However, I've noticed that from most other places within the game (for example, any thread) the PMs link remains the same color as all of your other links. This is particularly unhelpful when there are both new PMs and new posts, as I'll often either read the posts first or read one PM, notice the flag isn't red anymore, go on to read the posts, and hit the main menu link from the last newly updated thread only to find the post count for that game is still blue. It would be very nice if the PMs link was always red (or a similarly obvious color that differs from the normal link color) no matter where in the game you are.

Yes. I have the same gripe...

I think this was brought up before, and the explanation was something along the lines of thinking that to have the red inside the thread you're working on would be distracting if you're trying to do something else. However, I agree with you - I doubt it would be that distracting, and I, too, have often clicked back to the main menu to find it still blue.
