Mark as Unread

Is it possible, at least for a GM within a game, to mark threads as unread?

There are numerous occasions when I'm reading a number of posts in a spare minute and intend to go back and respond or take action later, but I forget, or have to search several threads trying to re-locate the message I want to work with.

If a GM could mark threads as unread, it would act as a reminder of outstanding business.

Not as yet, though such a feature is on jase's to-do list.

You can create threads with permissions such that no players can see it. For GM use only.  I do this sometimes to store NPC info or otherwise keep notes.  Until their is such functionality, you could have one called "To Do List".

I use spare Groups for my own notes, but I forget to look at those, too. :)

Still, it's good to know something like this is on the cards. :)

Re: Mark as Unread

It would be good especially PM wise, as I tend to look over things on my phone like RTJ's or requests and having to wait to do things on my computer when I get home I sometimes forget because there is no way to mark it not read that I still need to go back in and do some things in there so unfortunately I sometimes forget or remember much much later that I need to go back in.

Re: Mark as Unread

In theory... you could 'mark' one as unread by 'bumping' it.  But it would mark it unread for everyone.

It would mark it unread for everyone except the person who wants it marked unread.
