Hello, I'm Erik, 41yo, father of two, I've been playing ttrpg's since my early teenage years.

I'm looking for games to join that revolve around mystery and horror. I'm listing a couple of systems and settings I'm keen on here, but would be open for anything that runs in the same vein.

I'm able to do daily check-ins most of the time, and often available for more rapid pacing during evenings (CEST) and weekends.

I have a game about a secret society that might work for you? It's freeform but there is quite a bit of plot and mystery to uncover. I have to stress it is an adult game, but participation in any adult-themed actions is completely optional and not necessary for advancement in the game.

The secret society has several ranks and characters progress through the levels as they learn more about the society. I'm rather open to what types of characters join in as long as people are willing to roleplay in a way that makes it easy for others to roleplay with them.

I respect that freeform isn't for everyone, but in this case I think the fact that there is absolutely a plot and tailored interactions with the GM for each character, I believe it's less free-form and more like a stat-less game to some extent.

Let me know if that appeals to you, most of our players are around your age so it's a good place to hop on even if you're just looking to make friends with other quality roleplayers OOC.

I'm working on a low-magic, gritty 5e D&D zombie apocalypse game. There will only be occasional mystery and occult elements, but it will have plenty of horror. It isn't up for viewing yet, but I plan to have it up for recruitment sometime within the week. It will start at 1st level, be sandbox but have stories for the players to engage with if they choose to and is set in a custom setting where 6th level + spells don't exist and people who can use any magic are uncommon to rare.
