As the title indicates I’m looking for a game set in some version of a fantastical version Victorian time period, like the Carnival Row or Penny Dreadful tv shows. I’m pretty flexible on system and tone, though I do want some sort of system in place as I’ve had some bad experiences with freeform.

Take a look at the free quickstart for Clockwork: Dominion and let me know if the system and setting suit you.
If either of those sound somewhat interesting to you, then I might be able to organise something.

I was a huge fan of Penny Dreadful. Been a huge fan of of Cthulhu by gaslight.
The entire Victorian period, cries out for a rp world.
I hope you find a game you want, Crownblade.

Sounds interesting, though I have not tried Savage Worlds, nor read anything involving Dystopian Age, so there would definitely be a learning curve involved for me. The setting seems very steampunk?

I'm not nearly experienced enough in the system to GM but I'd like to try a Victorian era Savage Worlds game as a player. :)

Hi there!
Any preference between monster hunting / investigation? Carnival Row and Penny Dreadful tend more towards the latter than the former if I'm remembering correctly (though it's been a minute since watching them).
